Why do you want to join VenomMC?: I’ve been looking for a quality RP server. Most servers that promise RP fail to deliver, I’m hoping this one is different.
RP experience, if you have experience with minecraft please post a link to your application on that server. For example, say you used to play on Roleplaycraft post the link to your application: I’ve got more RP experience than I could possibly mention here (unless you’ve got time to read a short book?). The Highlights: I was a founding member of the Atlantic Role Play Community (ARPC) in Ultima Online. I wrote plot lines and story arcs that an entire community of RPers enjoyed over a period of nearly 10 years. I play periodically on the Prisoners of the Mist persistent world for NWN. This is a hardcore RP, dark horror server based on the Ravenloft games/stories. I’ve also been a part of some of the most serious RP guilds in just about every mainstream MMO release since Ultima Online.
Code: Generally I can find these things (every Whitelist MC server seems to use this) but I simply cannot find your code. I’ve read the rules, the lore, even half of the stories and I cannot locate it.
Describe your skin, or post a link to it: I generally RP an older character who wears a brown hooded robe that hides his hair. It’s a very basic skin—like something a peasant traveler would wear or perhaps a forest monk/druid. For this server I think I might go younger—but any skin I pick will be very basic and RP appropriate for a mage (some sort of robed character).
Are you familiar with the server lore and rules?: Read both sections, yes.
Do you understand that you must use the ticket system instead of asking in chat?: Yes.
Desired Class: Mage sounds interesting.
Desired Race: Human

In your own words describe the following:

Meta-gaming: Using knowledge you (the player) has to guide your character’s decisions when there is no IC way your character could know such things. For example: If I see in OOC chat that someone posted the coords to a nice mine and my character heads directly to those exact coords---that’s Metagaming.

Power-Gaming: Powergaming is your character performing actions that he/she normally would not perform ICly in order to get ahead. It’s using the game/server systems to their fullest to quickly advance your character or improve your character’s situation. For example, If you cut down trees for 4 hours straight (which would be, what, 3 weeks or so in-game?) just so you can quickly max your wood cutting skill or quickly gain an abundance of logs—that’s Powergaming. After all, what person cuts trees for 3 weeks straight?

Your application is very well written, there is a code however you can find it in the tutorials.

Eh, I generally don't read tutorials until I encounter a plugin or system I haven't encountered on an MC server before (a very rare occurrence). I almost never read tutorials on RP since I've done so much of it. Figures that's where you'd put it. lol
