Markus Lightbeard
Markus was a Drawf born of a middle-class family in the city of Khaz Amdaan. He was remarkably intelligent as a child, inspiring jealousy and envy in many others. He grew up with a friend who shared his passions for knowledge and explosives.
He parents were cold, aloof, and distant, but brilliant. His father, Haarn, and his Mother, Helga, were both engineers for the city until they were killed when a tunnel collapsed. He was 19 at the time. He has no brothers or sisters, "thankfully". Markus followed his parents and became an engineer, working to design new weapons and Devices. This lead him to discover explovies, a habit he has yet to give up.
Markus is a just peson, only fighting for causes he believes to be right. Overall, he's a fairly average dwarf, with no allergies, an addiction to beer (very much so), and hasn't been involved in crime in his past. A true dwarf, he normally lives in caves and mines. He has no tattos or notable features, save a small, axe-shaped (if you squint) birthmark on his soulder.
Surprisingly agile, he gets on well with animals and rarely gets lost. He is escpecially at home in cold environments. He has good teeth, a beard/mustache/thick eyebrows/statutory Dwarven helmet. Give him time to sack out and he'll fall asleep in seconds. A fairly mormal Dwarven diet (Meat, beer, meat, vegtables, beer), clean hands (with a dusting of gunpowder). Never seeing the inside of a dungeon nor despising monsters.
His greatest fault is his lack of ability to Not-Use-Explosives. He seeks knowledge, riches (Dwarf!) and explosives. He tries to give sound advice and has not, in fact, written a book about that, nor anything else. He has no problem with marriage, it just hasn't happened to him yet.
